Bergman Construction built a new restaurant for Genki Sushi, the largest sushi chain in the world and instrumental contributor to the birth of “Kaiten Sushi” (kaiten refers to sushi on a revolving conveyer belt). Since the chain has several locations in Hawaii, the Main Place Shopping Center opening adds to their U.S. presence by being the first in California. This build out included a sushi conveyor-belt through the dining and kitchen area, MEP utilities, new display cases, lighted counters, a kitchen partition and preparation area, an exterior patio, and an interior dining area.
